Lessons and Services

Oboe Lessons are customized to meet the student’s oboistic and musical needs. Books used for weekly etudes range from Rubank Elementary-Advanced Methods, Barret Oboe Method, Ferling 48 Famous Studies, and others. Lessons are taught in person or via zoom.

Reed-making lessons are designed to help all reed makers achieve the next in level their reed making. By using an objective process and diagnosis, Reed lessons help reed maker’s analyze and solve their recurring issues quickly. Reed-making lessons are offered both in person and online.

Reed-making lessons are $60/hour in person and $60/lesson online.

Music theory lessons are designed to help musicians, of any level, further their comprehension of music theory fundamentals, SATB part writing, counterpoint, and form.

Knife Sharpening service is offered to help those who need re-grinding of their Double Hallow ground knives.

Pricing begins at $20/knife. Unless a knife is in a very bad state, most will be at $20/knife. Please contact us for further pricing information.
